The Sleep Schedule for Success
How many hours of sleep do you get at night? If the answer is less than 6, your sleep schedule may be impeding your success and productivity — according to entrepreneur, Elon Musk.
If you’ve fallen into the traps set by ‘thinkfluencers’ (or those young entrepreneurs who sell you grandiose pitches in front of rented Lambos…), you probably think your sleep is in check. You’re waking up at 5 AM — before the sun even rises, some days! So, this must mean you’ve ‘hacked’ sleep, right?
Well, if that means you’re getting less than 6 hours of sleep… Your approach is no good. The same can be said for a sleep schedule that accounts for more than 6 hours. This tidbit comes from Elon Musk, arguably one of the most successful entrepreneurs in engineering history! In fact, he expressed on Joe Rogan’s show that sleeping less than 6 hours “decreases overall productivity.”
Looking at this man’s drive for productivity is certainly motivational to aspiring entrepreneurs. He must be doing something right… and maybe it all starts with sleep!
